I would have bet all my chips that Apple was inline to build the terminator in the years to come. I mean why not? The single piece aluminum, the iphone, the imac - killer devices - wink wink.
So yeah I was pretty certain that the doom of mankind was surely in the hands of Steve Jobs. BUT. With launch of the ipad, I feel safe again.

To add to the situation… I can’t understand how the ipad creates a revolutionary internet experience when it cannot even view flash based applications. Understanding that flash doesn’t “make up the internet” - being a web designer - most of the pages that I encounter involve some element of flash. Flash is going anywhere. It’s not on its way out and a little blue box with a question mark simply isn’t acceptable.
